DEAR VALUED ANTRIM CUSTOMER,
Based on your feedback, strong demand and in our consistent efforts to provide the highest levels of service, we are pleased to announce that Antrim Carpet is now offering machine serging on most Antrim running line products. (See below for product list). This service will be performed right in our 10,000 sf rug fabrication department in our Calhoun, GA distribution center. We will apply a cotton scrim around the perimeter of the backing for stability and strength. Afterwards, wool surging yarn will be closely matched to the base color unless specifically requested otherwise at the time of order.

The cost for this service if $7.65 /LF. Turnaround time for these rugs is typically 7-10 business days assuming carpet is in stock (which it is 92% of the time!). Showroom samples of our two new Antrim products featured at Surfaces 2010, Mita & Patola will be machine serged so you can show your clients the finished appearance of this method. These samples will be available to ship Mid June. In the meantime, upon request if needed, we would be happy to send you a small sample to show the finish. This new service will be in addition to our current custom hand serging which appears on your existing Antrim samples and available on a 10-12 basis.
